These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of RateLab.ca (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1) What RateLab.ca is (and isn't)
RateLab.ca provides general educational information about insurance, mortgages, credit cards, loans, and other personal finance topics. We are not an insurance company, insurance brokerage, claims service, bank, lender, mortgage brokerage, credit card issuer, or investment dealer. We do not provide individualized insurance, mortgage, legal, tax, or financial advice. You should consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.
2) Affiliate disclosure
RateLab.ca may earn commissions when readers click partner links or use comparison tools. This compensation helps support the Site. It does not change the educational nature of our content. Where comparisons are provided, we encourage readers to compare offers on an apples-to-apples basis (for example, using the same coverage limits and deductibles for insurance, using the same term and amortization for mortgage comparisons, or using consistent fee and rewards assumptions for credit cards).
